Margareta is a playwright, theatre director and cultural writer. She has an education as a language teacher in English and French. She has also studied drama-theatre-film at Lund University. There she participated for four years as an actor and director in one of Sweden's first independent theatre groups, Protevs. She has worked for twenty-five years as a producer of language and cultural programmes at Sveriges Radio (Sweden's national publicly funded radio broadcaster), both in Stockholm and in Blekinge. For two years she was a dramaturge at the Stockholm City Theatre. In 1979 she moved with her husband and three sons from Stockholm to Karlskrona. Here she has worked as a director and playwright in various theatre constellations. She has also actively participated in debates on the region's cultural policy and written articles and book reviews. Together with her husband, she runs the publishing house Arakne, where she has published her own specialised books. She is passionate about the preservation of Western cultural heritage and the revitalisation of the school of knowledge.
