Daniel Perminger’s remedy for Sweden

In this opinion video, Daniel Perminger explains why he is choosing to invest in AI. The script was written by Perminger and the video was staged with AI assistance.

Why I’ve chosen to get involved with Ambition Sverige.

My name is Daniel Perminger, I am 54 years old and live in north-west Skåne with my wife and our 3 children, 2 daughters and a lad. I am Swedish. I am law-abiding.

I have worked, paid taxes, been a sport shooter for many years, trained others, and watched as the country my parents and grandparents built has been slowly sold off, eroded, and transformed into something I barely recognise.

I have seen open borders, a lax migration policy and a welfare system that have created parallel societies, insecurity, shootings and bombings.

I have seen how law-abiding citizens, those who work, provide for themselves and follow the law, have to pay the price while the state looks the other way.

I have seen how nuclear power has been dismantled, electricity prices have soared and billions have been pumped into green pipe dreams while households and industry suffer. I have seen bureaucracy, special interests and political correctness crowd out common sense, responsibility and honesty.

And I have seen how even those who promised to put Sweden first, the Tidö parties, are pursuing symbolic politics against legal hunters and sport shooters. Symbolic politics based on the debunked leakage theory with general clauses that give the Police Authority arbitrary power and which undermine legal certainty and total defence.

All established parties have in various ways failed the Swede and Sweden.

The Social Democrats, the Left Party and the Green Party pursued this policy devoid of demands for decades. The Moderate Party, the Christian Democrats, the Liberals and the Sweden Democrats have in practice continued to hand over sovereignty to the EU, accepted supranational frameworks and are now legislating against the most law-abiding group of citizens in the whole of Sweden, gun owners, while illegal weapons continue to pour in.

It is no longer a question of right or left. It is a question of whether Sweden is to be an independent country where the citizens govern or a petty state where decisions are made in Brussels, where the will of the people is overridden and where the working Swede is increasingly marginalised.

That is why I have chosen to get involved with Ambition Sverige.

Ambition Sverige is not just another party promising more of the same. It is a grassroots movement that puts Sweden and the Swedish people first.

A party that proceeds from the assumption that power must be subject to the law, that politicians should not be permitted to do as they please, that the best interests of the people and the nation must take precedence over international pressure, that self-determination and non-interference are fundamental, and that every individual has the right to freedom, security and dignity.

Ambition Sverige wants Sweden to be a sovereign country. It wants us to leave the EU as soon as possible. We want to return to an independent, non-aligned defence and security policy, leave NATO, terminate the DCA agreement and build security on our own strength, diplomacy and détente, not on foreign troops or alliances with major powers.

That we regain control of migration with a recovery period, clear requirements for work, self-sufficiency and respect for Swedish law, democracy and values.

That we prioritise a functioning energy system with nuclear power at its centre, halt the continued expansion of wind power and put the needs of Swedish households and industry before export demands that drive up prices.

That we make Sweden rich again through lower taxes, more efficient administration and stopping giving away taxpayers' money. That we defend Swedish culture, re-introduce law and order and protect the countryside, agriculture and forestry from excessive bureaucracy and activism.

When it comes to firearms issues, Ambition Sverige stands with law-abiding hunters and sport shooters.

We see the more than 620,000 legal gun owners as an asset to total defence, not as a problem. We want to move licence management from the Police Authority to a more impartial and competent authority, involve those who actually know and understand the conditions and regulations, and create more shooting ranges. We are taking an open-minded, comprehensive approach and we will draw a sharp distinction between legal and illegal weapons.

We refuse to accept symbolic politics that punish law-abiding gun owners whilst criminals and their smuggling are left untouched. This is not ideological romanticism. It is pragmatism and responsibility.

It is about rebuilding a safe, well-functioning country where the person who works, takes responsibility and wants to leave something better for their children and grandchildren is at the centre. Not global agendas, supranational bureaucracies or political careers. Sweden's self-determination and neutrality must not be sold out. What generations before us have built must not be given away.

I am getting involved because it is still possible to turn the tide. Because honesty, competence and national self-determination must come before loyalty to Brussels, Davos or party-political compromises.

When honesty becomes a liability and power takes the place of competence, trust is eroded and we have already gone too far. Right now, Ambition Sverige is the only option that consistently puts the Swedish people and Sweden first, that respects the will of the people, and that dares to say no to the developments that have made our country less secure, poorer and less free.

That is why I support Ambition Sverige. Not because it is convenient, but because it is necessary.

I am not getting involved for my own sake. I am doing this for my children and their children's sake.

Help us rebuild a strong, safe and dignified Sweden. My name is Daniel Perminger and I am standing as a candidate for Ambition Sverige in Ängelholm Municipality, in Region Skåne, and for the Swedish Parliament.
